LMB Y-lane System

To keep your stitcher running at high speed for 2-up digest booklets

1-up Booklets

When running one-up, the booklets pass through the "A" (left) lane. The booklets can be labeled and/or imaged in the LMB-VAC and head-foot sealed in the LMB-PS. The "B" (right) lane is shut down.

2-up Booklets

When running two-up, the "B" (right) lane is diverted onto the "S" (LMB-Flex) conveyor, head-foot sealed in the LMB-PS and delivered to the "B" lane stacker.

The "A" (left) lane passes through the first LMB-Int and is brought to the center lane in the second LMB-Int. The product passes through the LMB-Vac, is head-foot sealed in the LMB-PS and then delivered to the lane stacker.

Faster, faster, faster...

Example;

Your stitcher and stacker may be able to produce and sort at 10,000 per hour 1-up. If you run 2-up into one stream you will still only yield 10,000 per hour due to the speed/sort limitations of the stacker. The "Y-lane" provides two-stream production -- you will truly double you output in 2-up mode.
